The largest screen in the world (the size of a 6 storey building) with the best outdoor surround sound system and the brightest projector arrived in Cyprus in July 2007 to make up the CHINO FILM FESTIVAL.
The main Sponsor was CHINO the advertising campaign was undertaken by Divine and we at Solid Entertainments were in charge of organizing the entire event.

It was a massive project an 8 day event in three different towns that started in Limassol on 27-29^th July 2007 in Paphos on 30^th and 31^st July 2007 and in Protaras on the 3^rd 5^th August 2007. Each evening two Hollywood blockbuster movies were screened such as Tokyo Drift, Pirates of the Caribbean, and 300. For the younger audiences Finding Nemo, Shrek 2 and Madagascar.

The event was hard work as organizers we had to locate the venues, we planned the entire set up for each venue from the security fencing, wage disposal, crowd control to the VIP section the whole running of the event was our responsibility.

Sometimes working through the night as the deadlines were very tight, but our reward came when at the opening night in Limassol on the beach under the moonlight the place was packed and buzzing with anticipation for what was to prevail and we all knew that this event was going to be a great success and it was!
