For the second year running Solid Entertainments undertook to plan and organize all the entertainment for Orphanides during the festive season. From the arrival of father Christmas to new years eve the package was the biggest supplied to Orphanides and we can say that it was also the most successful. It was a 30 day action packed event which enthralled all who visited the Limassol and Nicosia superstores.
With the Christmas houses we built specifically for Orphanides each house had different entertainment inside which included clowns, magicians, face painters and card makers.
We supplied stilt walkers and jugglers who roamed around the stores, there was also puppet shows and a Karakiosi shows causing a great buzz amongst the shoppers.
We also supplied a Jazz duo playing soft Jazz/Cuban music which was a first in store and really amazed all who experienced the mellow music. We also brought to Orphanides an amazing children’s variety dance show Russian folkloric show, there was also a couple of appearances from Elena Savva who sang Christmassy songs which brought the crowds to a stand still.
The famous Mayia who stars in the program “Venteta” came to award the prizes to the competition that had been running the entire month, the lucky winner won tickets to Disney World.
Overall it was a very successful event and we at Solid Entertainments are looking forward to Christmas 2008!!!!
